Re: Geologist TD

Just got 1 further question: How do the boosting gems work?

Do they boost the stats of every gem within their range?
Or do they affect EVERY gem on the field?
Or only adjacent gems?

Re: Geologist TD

They boost every gem in their unmodded range. So you can use lots of charoites to boost your, say, etherstone and have fun covering full screen with a single gem.

And yes, kills do transfer when combining gems.

Might be a stupid question but....what kind of range is unmodded range?

EDIT: Also, sometimes you can do very well and all of the sudden an entirely unbeatable wave comes. Unbeatable because they dont die despite having a huge maze where you are already making most out of the existing gems. I nkow waves a randomly generated but when that happens you generally can kiss your butt goodbye....or atleast 75% of your lifes.

Re: Geologist TD

unmodded ranged - some gems are able to increase the range of a gem and other special gems, and let say it upgrades malachite's range to include more gems in it's radius but the damage increase does not add to those. am i right?

Re: Geologist TD

When you upgrade the Find Gems spell a lot, you are kind of bound to run out of space soon, impeding one's ability to continue mazing...imo that is. Do wish there was a save feature for this.

Got killed by 2 Land Bosses (2 seperate waves). 1 of which's HP NEVER DROPPED BELOW 75%!!!!!:censored: I thought I was playing on easy.... >_>

PS Used the cheat to start out with those 8 moonstones and 1 Etherstone. And I can also make it to lvl 100 without special gems....

There is something wrong with the game when you have killer stones and a single regenerating boss makes it to the finish unharmed.

Also, 4 waves after this, I kept being bombarded with mobs that didnt want to die. Lost 1500 lifes in 1 ground wave!!!!! AND THIS IS STILL ON EASY. Seems you eventually are outswarmed, litterally. Even with the Etherstone, there are too many targets for the stone to handle. Very nice when the wave is a regenerating one: 1 hit gets healed off right away.

Oh and don't forget how wonderful Flyers get:

Re: Geologist TD

there is an exponential variable after the later rounds before 100. mind you that it is even harder on the other ones. btw, what level did you get to?

level 124 as seen on the last pic. The flyer killed me cuz it barely wouldnt die. Tho I wish I was able to zoom in with printscreen so people could see it better.

I'm currently yearning for a INF mode like with Gem TD where you get to start with inf mana. Would be great for testing.

Also noticed that I'm missing an oversight of all the normal gem stats. In help you only see the recipies and when you click a gem, you only get to see the stats of the special one.

NORMAL GEM STATS!

Re: Geologist TD

Well, killer waves are bound to exist. Note, you can kill their regeneration with poison, and dwindle them down with percentage-HP strike. If you'd select a monster and make it suffer percentage-HP strike, you could also notice that its maximum HP is also going down (regen too), while not as fast.

About help - hmm, it'll be wise to be able to read stats on normal gems as well.

By the way, do you spend mana to make gems impede fliers? It could help.

Yes, about stats on gems - their range increases linearly, firespeed too, damage exponentially, depending on type. Higher tier gems have higher exponent rate for their damage.
